 • GP Registrar Meeting
You may or may not know that I'm the scheme's representative on the GP registrar committee that meets four times yearly at the deanery to discuss any problems or issues surrounding GP training. Issues arising are discussed with the dean who deals with them as he sees fit. So if you have any problems with the training for whatever reason and want your voice heard by the dean, then discuss it with me. The next meeting is scheduled for the 24th November.

 • Canterbury VTS user account set up
As we discussed at the Wednesday lunchtime meeting, I have set up a single Blogger account for any VTS member to use. If you don't have the login details we chose at the meeting, contact Kim for the details.

 • GP Registrar of the Year - 8th December
For those of you on the Canterbury VTS, every year just before Christmas we have an award for the "GP Registrar of the Year". This can be anybody on the VTS, not just those in practice. Everybody votes for the person or people they think has contributed the most to the scheme.
Kim and Peter will be supplying voting papers in the next few weeks. The result will be announced at our annual (and Christmas) dinner at Reads Restaurant in Faversham on Wednesday 8th December. For those of you who have never been this is a very exclusive restaurant where the dress code is smart (Steve - try to remember this), the food fabulous - and it's free! Put the date in your diary.
