Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas full of overeating and alcohol. Lunchtime meetings restart Wednesday 4 January 2006 with termtime starting on Wed 18 January.
Also those of you starting you GPR year on Wed 8 February, now is the time to
1. Contact the MDU/MPS to let them know of your change in job. They will need to send you a letter stating how much your monthly instalments will be so that you can claim it back from you employer.
2. Contact the Kent Primary Care Agency to get your CRB check application form - even if you have doen one already in SHO posts you need to do another. You will also need to send all your valuable documents (birth cert/MPS/GMC cert/degree cert?) so dig them out.
3. It may also be worth contacting the editors of Pulse/Doctor Magazine etc. (same people as DTB) to be put on the full mailing list as you are now in GP-land.
And I have finally managed to put all the photos from recent events up. So look further down...
As most of you know Kim arranged a surprise visit to Paris for Peter in honour of his retirement. In spite of Allan's comments at teaching the secret was successfully kept until Manohar arrived at Peter's house at 6am.
We all spent a fun and frostbite filled day seeing the sights and taking in the culture as well as having the most delicious meal at one of the most decorative restaurants I have been to.
Here are some images from the day... excuse the layout but it was the only way I could get the bloody things onto the site!
Please either contact Peter on 01227 471433 or download the form here asap to cast your vote in the GPR of the year award, otherwise December 21st might be a damp squib!!
Next KSS GPR Metting will be on the 7th of December.
If any one in the Canterbury and Thanet Scheme trainees wish to raise any concerens to Deanery please contact your local Reps or post at KSS GP VTS FORUM at doctors net.
